    Tiniciti Preschool is looking for an English speaking Academic Director candidate with Director’s Credentials Certificate

    Must be fluent in English

    Must possess all required courses to hold all the requirements:

    • Speak fluent English
    • Valid and up-to-date Director’s Credentials
    • 45 DCF Hours
    • 10 In-Service DCF Hours
    • CPR & AED Certification
    • 5 Years of experience
    • College Degree

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Plan, develop and implement daily projections that provide for educational and enrichment activities for preschool age children or infants and toddlers that meet federal performance standards.
    • Ensuring School policies are followed.
    • Resolving customer issues to their overall satisfaction.
    • Providing leadership and direction to all employees.
    • Ensuring school quality.
    • Working closely with the school manager to lead staff.
    • Assisting customers whenever necessary.
    • Organizing teachers schedule.
    • Ensuring that health, safety, and security rules are followed.
    • Taking disciplinary action when necessary.
    • Ensuring a consistent standard of customer service.
    • Motivating employees and ensuring a focus on the mission.
    • Maintaining school standards, including cleaning.
    • Supporting school manager as needed.
    • Enforcing attendance rules.
    • Meeting with parents to discuss student behavioral or learning problems.
    • Coordinating the use of school facilities for day-to-day activities and special events.
    • Hiring and training staff.
    • Ordering equipment and supplies.
    • Maintaining systems for attendance, performance, planning and other reports.
    • Supervising grounds and facilities maintenance.
    • Walking the hallways and checking in on teachers and classrooms.
    • Responding to emails from teachers, parents and community members.
    • Review and recommend textbooks and other educational materials
    • Observe work of teaching staff to evaluate performance, and to recommend changes that could strengthen teaching skills
    • Recommend teaching techniques and the use of different or new technologies
    • Develop procedures for teachers to implement curriculum
    • Train teachers and other instructional staff in new content or programs
    • Mentor or coach teachers to improve their skills.
    • Work with staff to ensure all curriculum objectives are aligned with the school’s core standards
    • Organize all in-house staff development training
    • Organize and conduct professional staff development Staff training on newly adopted programs
    • Identify professional development opportunities offered by the state, regional professional development providers and others that align to teaching staff goals and needs.
    • Develop and facilitate a professional learning community focused on instructional excellence.

    Pre-K 4 Lead Teacher

    Tiniciti Preschool is looking for an experienced Lead Pre-K 3 Teacher

    Must be fluent in English

    Must possess all required courses to hold all the requirements:

    • 10 In-Service DCF Hours
    • CPR & AED Certification
    • 5 Years of experience
    • Degree

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Plan, develop and implement daily projects that provide educational and enrichment opportunities for preschool age children while meeting performance standards.
    • Plan and arrange classrooms into distinctive learning centers that promote an effective learning environment.
    • Maintain the classroom in a professional manner, interacting with families and the community to foster positive relationships and support families positive guidance techniques for young children.
    • Follow DCF procedures and state regulations to maintain a high-quality program.
    • Monitor meal and snack periods, classroom and restroom activities, and playground activities to ensure a safe environment for young children.
    • Document children’s progress and complete all required manual and computerized forms and reports in accordance with federal requirements.
    • Plan classroom activities for parent and community involvement.
    • Attend and participate in workshops and other meetings to acquire and disseminate educational and beneficial information.
    • Responsible for the safety of children.
    • Attend extra-curricular activities such as graduation, staff luncheons, etc. Assist with community activities (library, etc.)
    • Disinfect cubbies and toys DAILY.
    • Maintain classroom clean and organized.
